Start with the best, Saint Marks Square. Here you can enjoy three different tourist “must sees”. When you need a break, stop at one of the many cafes’ on the square.
When you decide to stop at a café, keep this in mind: It costs more to sit outside on the square, less inside at a table, and less sill if you just stand at the bar, so plan accordingly.
Doge’s Palace, constructed beginning in 1301, it was completed in 1450, in an architectural style considered to be Venetian Gothic.
