Sandals’ has seven adult only resorts in Jamaica, not counting their Beaches properties designed for families.
What’s included at Sandals “luxury inclusive” properties? Scuba diving, golf (but not the required caddy @ $17 per person) all motorized and non-motorized water sports, airport transfers, transfers between resorts, top quality food, premium drinks and no tipping (except butler suites). What's not included: yoga classes, dive lessons, Internet, island tours, spa treatments, phone calls and the gift shop.
Sandals Montego Bay:
Features the longest private stretch of beach in all of Jamaica Sadly, it happens to be parallel to the airport. Folks bothered by the noise might not choose this resort, but the staff makes light of it, offers champagne toasts to the departing planes. This resort is about having fun, big enough to hide away, and small enough to feel intimate.
With four pools, eight restaurants, and 245 rooms in ten categories.
Sandals Royal Caribbean: Montego Bay
Offering swim up suites, this is the only Sandals with a private island. The snorkeling here is very good, but there is not a very large beach, and no water skiing is available here. Fifteen minutes to the airport, with a friendly staff and a secluded feel.
With seven pools, seven restaurants and 197 rooms in 14 categories.
Sandals Carlyle Montego Bay
Significantly less expensive than the other Sandals, and only five minutes from the airport. Expect some airport noise. This resort has no swim up bar or beach. The public beach is across the street. Smaller, and with less of a resort feel, this sandals still boasts three restaurants one pool, and 52 rooms in four categories. Best of all it runs hourly shuttles to the other sandals in Montego Bay, so you can pay significantly less, and play/eat/drink at the other resorts.
Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa:
Best sunset and second best beach at Sandals. Many guest stroll along 7-mile beach, and watch the cliff divers at Ricks. Swim up rooms are available. Be aware that there are a fair number of rooms facing away from the beach, and a few even face the parking lot, so upgrade your room to the Paradise building, for balconies, larger rooms and sea views. Guests tend to congregate in the lobby, and pool area, enjoy this resort for its laid-back ambiance and beach activities. Perfect for a honeymoon.

Sandals Grande Riviera: Ocho Rios
The most party oriented and lively Sandals in Jamaica, and also the largest, with 529 rooms, 15 restaurants and six pools, but no swim up rooms. Originally two resorts this property still fells a bit divided. With access to Jamaica Golf & County club, and complimentary greens fees, this is a great resort for golfers. A bit large for a short stay, but ideal for it's large number of activities.
Sandals Royal Plantation: Ocho Rios
A 90 minute drive from Montego Bay airport, this is The most expensive Sandals on Jamaica. All accommodations are oceanfront suites and all come with butler service. Expect your butler to anticipate you every wish. This quiet property caters to guests who want to be pampered, and is great for honeymooners. Want a few more activities; just take the shuttle to Sandals Grand Rivera.

Sandals Whitehouse European Village and Spa: a 90-minute drive from Montego Bay
This property is remote. It is not near any towns or other Sandals properties. Set among a 500-acre wilderness preserve, this property caters to couples seeking seclusion and extraordinary service. Divided in to European themed sections this resort, each section has its own feel. For natural beauty this is a fine property, featuring a nice beach, four pools and seven restaurants, and 360 rooms in 11 categories.
